Featherweight Title Bout Headlines FightWorld 23
FightWorld will be back in the 505 with a stacked night of amateur action on May 21st.
The event will be FightWorld 23 once against taking place from the Fit NHB martial arts complex at 1010 Candalaria NW.
At this point the card is scheduled to see 16 amateur MMA matches. The main event will see Jacksonwink fighter Gregoire Seban battling Tyrell Wisdom from Baca Fight Systems for the FightWorld amateur Featherweight title.
This will be the third FightWorld amateur championship bout to take place in the last six months. Since the relaunch of FightWorld the Albuquerque audience has been treated to seeing an amateur Flyweight and amateur Light-Heavyweigt champion crowned.
At FightWorld 20 Aljeandro Guttirrez submitted Juwan Smith by armbar in the first round to win the FightWorld Amateur Flyweight title. And at FightWorld 22 Boby Griego outlasted Chris Collins to take home the FightWorld Amateur Light-Heavyweight title.
The card will include fighter from every Albuquerque including Fit NHB, The Fight Authority, Duke city MMA, Sandoval fight Systems, Jackson-wink St. Co., Baca fight Systems, United Fit, Jackson’s Acoma, Wink Family Gyn, & Perez Fighting Systems. As well as other gyms from the region like Genesis MMA, Desert Dynasty MMA, & Zen martial arts.
