Bellator 283 Results, Jackson grinds up Lima for decision win
For the first time Bellator MMA is visiting the pacific northwest. The Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel will play backdrop to Bellator 283. The 12-fight card is headlined by a showdown between ranked Welterweight contenders.
Three-time Welterweight champion & Grand Prix Winner, number three ranked Douglas “The Phenom” Lima squares off with former Titan & Victory champion, number four ranked Jason “The Ass Kicking Machine” Jackson. Lima will look to end a three-fight skid but didn’t get the weekend off to a good start missing weight by 1.5 lbs. Jackson has won five decisions in a row adding names like Benson Henderson, Neiman Gracie, & Paul Daley to his resume.
Sidney Outlaw was scheduled to fight for the Lightweight title until Patricky Pitbull was forced to withdraw. Outlaw will remain on the card risking his title shot against Tofiq Musayev. Plus, much talked of unbeaten prospect Usman Nurmagomendov has exciting finisher Chris Gonzalez.
