2022 PFL 8 Results, Welterweight & Heavyweight Finals are Set
The PFL has gone international for the first time. The second week of the 2022 PFL playoff takes place at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff Wales. This week the Welterweights and Heavyweight battle to earn their spots in the million-dollar finals.
It was a will fight week as Magomed Umalatov & Denis Goltsov both were forced to withdraw from the playoffs due to visa issues. The new main event will see former UFC & Bellator champion Rory “The Red King” MacDonald against late replacement Danilo Taylor. Goltsov has been replaced by Juan Adams who’ll face Mattheus Scheffel, himself a replacement for the 2021 Heavyweight champion Bruno Cappeloza. In the other Heavyweight semifinal has Croatia’s Ante Delija versus Brazil’s Renan Ferreira. The playoff action starts at 170 lbs. as Swedish Striker Sadibou Sy squares off with former LFA champion Carlos Leal.
