Barbos-Santos Featherweight Semifinal headlines LFA 146
The second LFA Featherweight Tournament Semifinal has been announced as the headliner of LFA 146.
The promotion will be returning to São Paulo, Brazil for the second time this year for LFA 146 on Friday, November 4th at the Ginásio do Polvilho in Cajamar, In the first semifinal at LFA 143 saw Jose Delano knock out Jair Jesuino with a knee in only three minutes.
The LFA 146 main event will see top prospects Márcio “Ticotô” Barbosa and Gabriel “Mosquitinho” Santos battling for the opportunity to face Jose Delano for the vacant LFA Featherweight title in January.
Barbosa is a 24-year-old on a three-fight win streak. All three fights have been finished inside the first round two coming by knockout and one by submission. Barbosa wastes little time getting to work once the cage door closes having scored twelve of his thirteen wins by finish in the first round. Santos is an unbeaten 25-year-old with his last two wins by decision. The fighter nicknamed “Mosquitinho” secured his spot in the LFA title tournament by wining the Future FC Featherweight title this past September, one of the most well-respected titles on the Brazilian circuit .
The co-main event will see Felipe Douglas who’s won three in a row the last two by first round knockout against Rangle de Sá who’s scored his last two wins in the first round. In the feature fight unbeaten Jean Matsumoto battles the only once beaten Inaildo Santos.
