UFC Vegas 63 Results, Allen remains Unbeaten in the Octagon
The UFC Apex in LAs Vegas Nevada hosts UFC Vegas 63. The 11-fight card is headlined by a top ten Featherweight showdown as number five ranked Clavin Kattar faces number six ranked Arnold Allen.
Kattar has been entrenched in the deepest water of the UFC’s Featherweight division since 2019. This will be the Boston fighters fifth consecutive five round affair. “The Boston Finisher” has shown off his girt and boxing skill in decision wins over Dan Ige & Giga Chikadze. England’s Allen is on an 11-fight win streak including nine straight wins in the octagon. The ceiling for the fighter known as “Almighty” is greatly in question as he’s only fought twice in calendar year two times. When Allen has taken steps up in competition he passed the test beating the like of Sodiq Yusuff, Gilbert Melendez, & Dan Hooker.
The co-main event will see veteran Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means against the on coming Max “Pain” Griffin. Means first stepped foot in the octagon in 2012 and has walked out with his hand raised 14 times with five of them coming by knockout. In his last three wins over Laureano Staropoli, Mike Perry, & Nicolas Dalby we seen Means mixing in more of his grappling showing his full skill set. Griffin is 3-1 in his last four fights reviving his career from a 1-4 stint that nearly had him on his way back to the regional circuit. In his last three wins Griffin has busted open Ramiz Brahimaj’s ear, knocked out Kenan Song, and sent Carlos Condit to retirement.
