Diamond Boy & Pitbull Shine at The Rumble at Revel
Put to the pressure test headlining the first card promoted by his father Matthew Griego shined like a Diamond.
Wrecking Crew Promotions The Rumble at Revel the first offering from the upstart promotion. We had 4 fights showcasing a bunch of New Mexico talent featuring Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego in the main event who scored a TKO 55 seconds into the fourth round dropping Bryan Aquino with a short right hand. Aquino complained of a headbutt but the referee Rocky Burke called it a clean punch. (Note from editor in house production showed us a reply of the moment available to watch on Instagram and its inconclusive). In the Co-Main we had Josh “Pitbull” Torres go the distance with Todd Manuel scoring a convincing unanimous decision win . The undercard also had Steve Trujeque making his pro debut on the first bell of the night it was a hard fought battle his opponent Jose Vialpando. Vialpando knocked down Trujeque in the first round. Facing Adversity Trujeque was able to finish strong overwhelming Vialpando for a referee stoppage in round two. Following was a New Mexico showdownMaximus Moya vs Jazzma Houge.
