Nguyen vs. Straus Headlines BKFC 38
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships is returning to Delray Beach Florida for a St. Patrick’s Day spectacular.
Friday March 17th the Delray Beach Tennis Center will host BKFC 38. The main event be a featherweight showdown as former BKFC Bantamweight world champion Dat “Be Dat” Nguyen squares off with former Bellator Featherweight world champion Daniel Straus.
Nguyen (3-1) joined BKFC in 2019 defeating Travis Thompson by decision in his debut The Vietnamese fighter earned a title shot after knocking out Abdiel Velazquez at BKFC 10. At the very first Knucklemania card the fighter nicknamed “Dat Be” took the BKFC Bantamweight title from Johnny Bedford.
BKFC announced the signing of MMA vet Daniel Straus last month. The Ohio native won 26 and lost 10 fights during his MMA career. The two-time former Bellator Featherweight champion holds notable wins over Pat Curran, Marlon Sandro, & Henry Corrales. Straus was engaged in the most epic trilogy of fights in Bellator history with rival Patricky Freire.
