The Gentleman to battle The Truth at LFA 156
Legacy Fighting Alliance has announced a return an April return to South Dakota.
The Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls South Dakota will host LFA 156 on April 14th. The headliner will be a welterweight showdown pitting Jalin “The Gentleman” Fuller against Trey “The Truth” Waters.
Fuller (7-2) has been competing for the LFA since his pro debut at LFA 58 in January of 2019. The Duke City MMA fighter got out to a fast start to his pro career going 5-0 and earning a reputation as a knockout artist with three in the first round. “The Gentleman’s “last two wins have shown cased his ever-growing ground game submitting Gage Saunders by rear naked choke at LFA 130 and Scott Writz by high elbow guillotine at LFA 150.
Waters (6-1) is a Jacksonville native who proved he was ready for a national stage after four stoppage wins on the local scene. “The Truth” opened up eyes in his promotional debut at LFA 133 scoring a knockout out the year candidate knee that sent Benjamin Bennett from the ranks of the unbeatens. The win grabbed the attention of Dana White, earning Waters a fight on the 2022 Contender Series.
