Big Additions to BKFC 41
The card for BKFC’s April trip to the Rocky Mountains is expanding with some giant fights making their way on to the card.
Coming off a massive knockout of former NFL Defensive Lineman Greg Hardy at Knucklemania 3, Josh “Stay Down” Watson was told by BKFC president David Feldman that something big was in the works. April 29th at BKFC Watson will take on “Big” Ben Rothwell. Watson’s win over Hardy was a follow up to his knockout at BKFC 28 where he straightened Kyle McElory up like a board against the corner. Rothwell has been competing professionally in MMA since 2001, having fought for the IFL & UFC. Back in November it took just 19 seconds for “Big” Ben to dispatch of Bobo O’Bannon at BKFC 30.
Also in Heavyweight action Josh Copeland who knocked out Leiv Coast at BKFC 31 will square off with Steve Herelius who beat Juan Torres by decision at BKFC 18.
In Light-Heavyweight action Chris Cammozzi will take on Dan Spohn. Cammozzi is a UFC, PFL and Glory Kickboxing vet who knocked out Budda McDaniel at BKFC 31. Spohn has fought in the Contender Series & for the PFL. The fighter nicknamed “Dragon” comes into his Bare Knuckle debut off a decision win in MMA over UFC vet Dequan Townsend from a regional event in Ohio.
