Middleweight title Fight Headlines September’s Bellator Dublin
Bellator MMA is returning to the Emerald Isle in September with the Middleweight crown on the line.
In the main event unbeaten Johnny Eblen “The Human Cheat Code” (13-0) will defend the Bellator 185 lb title against Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards (12-2). The two world-class competitors have very contrasting philosophies when it comes to how they get it done in the cage. Eblen is a wrestler who pressures, grinds, and wears on his opponents. Edwards is a lengthy striker who plays the outside game and has the submission game to give grapplers pause.
Eblen won the title by unanimous decision ending the reign of Gegard Mousasi. This past February at Bellator 290 Eblen security his first successful defense to feeding Anatoly Tokov final miss decision.
