Palomino putting BKFC Lightweight Title up Against Lilley at BKFC 45
The top ranked bareknuckle fighter in the world will be putting one of his two titles on the line as the promotion returns to Florida in later June.
During BKFC 43 a commercial dropped informing the masses that Luis Palomino will put his BKFC lightweight World Title on the line against James “Lights Out” Lilley at BKFC 45. A surprising announcement as at Knucklemania 3 it Will liked wheels were in motion to have Palomino defend against former Boxing World Champion Champion Austin Trout. At BKFC 42 Tony Soto improved to 5-0 in the squares circle and even shared some trash talk with the champ in the ring.
BKFC 45 is set for June 23 at the seminal hard rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood Florida.
Palomino is 8-0 in Bare Knuckle. 2022 was the year of the “Baboon” in BKFC as he captures the Lightweight title defeating Martin Brown at Knucklemania 2. Palomino then won the Welterweight title by beating Elvin Leon Brito at BKFC 26. And the year ended with stopping Tom Shoaff at BKFC 34 to defend the Lightweight title.
Lilley is 7-0-1 in Bare Knuckle. During 2018 & 19 Lilley competed in MMA & Bare Knuckle winning three of his four Bare Knuckle bouts. Since a 21-months between fights, Lilley is 4-0 with three consecutive wins in BKFC. Back in February at BKFC 36 “Lights Out” beat bobby Taylor to wear the doctor had to intervene.
