Mike Perry future & BKFC title picture

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has made big news with some major changes within the promotion.

BKFC President David Feldman announced this week on The Bare Knuckle Show with Brian Sosha that Alan Belcher has been stripped of the Heavyweight title due to him taking a fight outside of the BKFC promotion. The now former BKFC Heavyweight champion is scheduled to face Hasim Rahman Jr. in a boxing fight on July 22.

That being said, two division world BKFC champion Lorenzo Hunt was on the mission accomplished podcast said he will be making his way to assume the now vacant heavyweight title to become the first three division world champion and plans to defend all three belts. David Feldman also said there is now an interim title up for grabs for the 185 pound division which Hunt is currently champion of. The promotion recently announced a 185 pound interim title will be on the line July 14th at BKFC 47 in a rematch between Jared Warren & Josh Dyer.

Also by this Friday David Feldman said the promotion would be able to most likely confirm if  Mike Perry intended to re-sign with the company. Feldman said the negotiations were promising and it looked good for Platinum Mike Perry to re-sign. Mike Perry is coming off a huge win against Luke Rockhold and currently undefeated in BKFC.

The promotion is in Hollywood, FL this weekend for BKFC 45 featuring a fight for the BKFC Lightweight title.
