Fury vs N’Gannou is a reality

They say patience is a virtue, and  the patience’s of Francis Ngannou has paid off in a major way.

It’s official WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will fight former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis N’Gannou October 28th in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

The fight will be a 10-round regulation boxing match. But it’s unknown if the fight will be for the WBC title, and if it will even be counted as a professional bout. The meeting new two of the baddest men on the planet had been teased after Fury win in April 2022 over Dilian Whyte.

Fury (33-0-1, Boxing) last fought seven months ago. This past December “The Gypsy King” scored a 10 round knockout of Derek Chisora to defend his title.

N’Gannou (17-3 MMA) hasn’t fought since January of 2021 when he defeated Ciryl Gane to unify the UFC Heavyweight title. Following the fight, Ngannou in the UFC, engaged in a steel made of a contract negotiation at the same time Ngannou was also having to repair a torn ACL and MCL. In May “The Predator” announced he had signed with the PFL but intended to box before returning to the cage.

Many felt that going in a free agency, was a bold move for Ngannou, leaving the industries leader in MMA, had not turned out to be the most profitable move for many free agents. Getting this fight signed for N’Gannou is the equivalent of hitting the jackpot.
