UFC 290 Weigh-in Results, 1 Fighter 2 lbs. Heavy
The scale is out at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas Nevada for the UFC 290 Weigh-ins. The 14-fight card features a championship double header as the main attraction of International Fight Week. Weight must be made on the dot in the main event as champion Alexander Volkanovski and interim champion Yair Rodriguez battle for the undisputed UFC Featherweight title. It’s the same scenario on scale in the co-main event as Alexandre Pantoja challenges Brandon Moreno for the UFC Flyweight title. The main & co-main event were both given the green light as all four competitors successfully made weight.
Unfortunately not everyone was able to hit the intended mark as Jalin Turner came in 2 lbs. over the Lightweight limit. Turner was fined 20% of his purse and the fight will continue as scheduled .
