BKFC Prospect Series 1 Quick Results
The Miami Dade County Fairgrounds in South Beach are the host for the very first BKFC prospect series event.
The prospect series has been developed by BKFC to give fighters from the try outs that the company liked but didn’t sign the opportunity to make another case for themselves.
The six fight card will be headlined by a women’s Strawweight bout as 13-0 boxer Rosalinda Rodriguez battles 6-fight mma vet, Cristina Crist.
In the main event Rosalinda Rodriguez made as close to a complete performance as one could have in their Bare Knuckle debut. After five rounds the judges returned a one sided score card in favor of the Fort Lauerdale base fighter. Rodriguez displayed a fast an accurate jab cutting up Crists forehead. Try as she did Crist was unable to get in the pocket thanks to the Rodriguez footwork and ability to hit angels. Rodriguez would do her most damage with long hooks catching Crist on the entry and exit.
In the co-main event Leandro Perdomo got into the pocket winging big hooks, knocking down Ryan Shough twice in under a minute. A short right hand collected the first knockdown while a tight left hand sealed the deal.

- Bantamweight: Dameko Labon (2-0) def. Justin Watson (0-1) by KO (Right Hand) 0:21 R1
- Welterweight: Leandro Torres (1-0) def. Harry Cruz (o-1) TKO (Dr. Stoppage/cut) 1:29 R3
