DCCW Preview, There’s A Coronation this Week
It’s that magical time of the month, Duke city championship wrestling at the historic El Rey Theater Thursday night is “The Coronation”.
The question on everyone’s mind is why Thunder? After a career of wrestling with honor and for the Duke City, Thunder has seemingly thrown it all away. A celebration for the inaugural DCCW Heavyweight Champion has been announced and maybe we’ll get treated to an explanation regarding his actions during the ladder match.
The two men wronged by Thunder’s actions Hobo Hank & Turbo Tony will look for retribution when they tag together for the first time to take on a pair of contributors to the chaos in last months main event, La Miaga’s representatives El Diablo Blanco & Phoenix.
In a special treat Burque’s own Angelic Risk will step into the DCCW ring to defend her Titlematch Ladies Night Out Championship. Risk has appeared in All Elite Wrestling & Ring of Honor among numerous other companies, while training out of the Nightmare Factory.
In a clash of styles, death match veteran and 505 street fighter Mosh Pit Mike faces the most complete grappler in DCCW “Two Scoop” Tommy test. Hard hitting Chris Watson will Charlie 50, known for always having an ace up his sleeve. Stepping away from her managerial responsibilities, the crafty Veronica Vega clashes with everyone’s favorite flower child, Eliza Haze a combination power and precision.
Enrique Del Gato, a Lucha Doro with stinging strikes faces the most unorthodox man in New Mexico, Fonzi. Fearless risk taker Sid The Kid welcomes the debuting Plexx to Downtown Albuquerque. And in a battle that is no laughing matter when happy the clown looks to avoid being put under a spell and wipe the smile off the face of Valak Vile.
