The Overtime Bar & Grill played host Nowhere to Run Next Gen.
A chilly Albuquerque Saturday night was warmed up by the blistering action in the in the Kickboxing ring. After a two-year hiatus, Nowhere to Run amateur Kickboxing had returned. The two biggest performances of the night came from Roman Ulibarri & Nahum. Both youngmen scored second round TKO wins, overwhelming their opponents with powerful punches. Desmond Spikes returned to combat sports after an extended layoff earning a third round TKO. Spikes landed punishing kicks hammering punches while still shaking out the nerves of his return. It was also a successful return to action for Gabe Pera, fighting for the first time in two years. Pera got a decision off his strong boxing and a second round where he drew blood his opponents nose and scored a knockdown. In the main event a strong clinch, deep cardio and solid fundamentals saw Kwaku Chin out point Nico Dellesalle.
