One Fight Night 16 Results, Haggerty Captures a 2nd World Title in Style

In the main event One Bantamweight Muay Thai champion Jonathan Haggerty faces One Bantamweight MMA champion Fabricio Andrade. The full slate of martial arts action includes a championship grappling bout, two Muay Thai contest, 3 Kickboxing matches, & 4 bouts in MMA.
Haggerty realizes the dream of becoming a two sport world champion winning by second round knockout. Haggerty caught Andrade with a left high kick to the temple. Haggerty kept the pressure on scoring with his left hook before sitting Andrade down from a straight right. The ref waiving off the fight as Andrade slowly stumbled to his feet. Ruotolo joined his brother Kade as One Grappling world champs claiming the 185 lbs. title after a decision win over Magomed Abdulkadirov on the strength of a deep triangle armbar combination. It was a master class in Muay Thai as legend Saeksan scored the 200th win of his career absolutely battering Marim Bennoui.
In a Lightweight MMA Bout Halil Amir escaped a deep kimura attempt from Ahmed Mujtaba taking advantage of his opportunity to get on top firing off ground strikes that force Mujtaba to call it between rounds. Clever boxing combinations, slick counter striking, and a strong clinch led Sinsaut Klinmee to defeat the forward pressing Mouhcine Chafi by unanimous decision in Muay Thai action. The strategic defense and body work of Rui Botelho pulled out a split decision upset win over the aggression of Peimian Zhang after three rounds of kickboxing. Ayaka Miura grab on to a headlock of Bo Meng relentlessly hanging on adjusting her way to securing a scarf hold submission. LFA vet Ben Tynan was able to implement his wrestling game securing an arm triangle choke finish of Ji Won Kang in the third round. Cristina Morales put together a lethal combination of punches and knees to the body scoring a first-round knockout of Ann Jaroonsak. Started the night off with a unanimous decision win over Jeremy Miado.
