BKFC taking the Prospect Series to Virginia in February
February 16th BKFC will be at The Salisbury Center in Manassas, Virginia for a Prospect Series event.
In the main event Romania’s Stanislav Grosu takes on Alexandria, Louisiana’s Brandon ‘The Shredder’ Shavers.
Grosu joined BKFC in 2021 with the unfortunate luck of facing furture champion Dave Mundell. The Romanian fighter has found his footing in his last two fights knocking out Quartus Stitt & Blake LaCaze. Shavers had quite the debut at BKFC 30 knocking out Bryce Mitchell. The 29-year-old will now look to rebound from a setback against Bryce Henry.
The Prospect Series was introduced last year as a concept from BKFC to develop a pipeline to cultivate new talent. The idea has slightly evolved as the top of the cards will now be featuring competitors the BKFC audience is familiar with as the drawing attraction. The undercard will still see prospects battling for full fledged contracts with the promotion.
