First Title Fight Announced for UFC 300
UFC 300 is expected to be a massive event. UFC president Dana White took to his social media to announce the first of what is expected to be multiple title fights.
UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Weili Zhang will defended her title against number two ranked contender Xiaonan Yan.
Zhang captured the title for a second time at UFC 261 submitting Carla Esparza. At UFC 292 Zhang made her first successful defense of the two reigns defeating power puncher, Amanda Lemos by unanimous decision. Yan has won her last two fights a decision over tenacious grappler Mackenzie Dern & a knockout for former champion, Brazil’s powerhouse Jessica Andrade.
The card has also gained a bout between former champions as Deiveson figueiredo, a former Flyweight kingpin meets Cody Garbrandt who once ruled over the Bantamweight division.
