UFC 300 Has A Main Event
The long waited announcement of what would headline the massive UFC 300 card has finally been revealed.
At UFC 298 it was made official that Alex Pereira will defend the UFC Light-Heavyweight title against former champion Jamahal Hill in the main event of UFC 300 on April 13th at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pereira a former Middleweight champion is 2-0 at 205 lbs. A split decision win over former champion Jan Blachowicz put Pereira in place to fight for the world title. At UFC 295 the Brazilian won the Light-Heavyweight title by second round knockout becoming the fastest fighter to win UFC titles in two weight classes.
Jamahal Hill has won four fights in a row, three by knockout. Hill will look to regain the title he beat Pereira’s head coach Glover Teixeira for at UFC 283. Unfortunately for Hill he was never able to defend, tearing his achilies in a pick up basketball game during International Fight Week 2023.
