Oezdemir vs. Reyes tops UFC’s March Event in London
A Light Heavyweight match-up between top ten ranked contenders is set to headline the Ultimate Fighting Championships, March event.
Number 6 ranked Volkan “No Time” Oezdemir from Switzerland will face unbeaten number 7 Dominick “The Devastator” Reyes from California.
Oezdemir won his first 3 fights in the octagon defeating Ovince St. Preux, Misha Cirkunov, and Jimi Manuwa to earn a title shot. Oezdemir failed in his attempt to dethrone Daniel Cormier and is coming off a submission loss to Anthony Smith. Reyes is 4-0 in the octagon with knock outs of Joachim Christensen and Jared Cannonier, a submission of Jeremy Kimball, and a decision over Ovince St. Preux. This will be the 29-year-olds first UFC main event.
UFC on ESPN+ 5 is set for March 16 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
