Warren Challenges Dantas in Bellator 118 Main Event
Bellator reigning 135 pound world champion Eduardo Dantas (16-3) will make his second title defense of season 10, this time taking on season 9 tournament winner, former Featherweight title holder Joe Warren (10-3); in the headlining bout of Bellator 118.
Dantas since winning the title has defended is twice knocking out Marcos Galvao and submitting Anthony Leone, rebounding from a non-title out of promotion loss to Tyson Nam; after submitting Zach Makovsky to win the championship.
Warren has won 3 fights in a row including submitting Nick Kirk and Scoring a TKO of Travis Marx to win the season 9 4-man Bantamweight tournament.
The promotion has also announced the rescheduling of Andrey Koreshkov (15-1) vs. Sam Oropeza (11-2) for Bellator 118. A Welterweight tournament semifinal that due to Koreshkov becoming ill was pulled from Bellator 115’s line up.
Bellator 118 is on May 2, at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
