Halsey vs. Pacheco New Bellator 116 Middleweight Tournament Semifinal
At Bellator 115 a scheduled Middleweight Tournament Semifinal of Jeremy Kimball (10-4) vs. Dan Cramer (10-4) was canceled when was so overweight that the two never took the scale. The promotion has announced that at Bellator 116 Brandon Halsey (5-0) vs. Joe Pacheco (7-1) will be a Middleweight Tournament Semifinal.
Cramer is reportedly out of the tournament after refusing to face a replacement at both Bellator 115 and 116.
Halsey is 3-0 in Bellator and is coming off a Bellator 106 TKO of Hector Ramirez, while Pacheco is looking to rebound from a season 8 Middleweight Tournament Semifinal loss to Brennan Ward. The winner will meet Brett Cooper who is coming off a semifinals 2nd round TKO of Kendall Grove.
Bellator 116 is this Friday April 11 at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California;’ and is headlined by the Heavyweight Tournament Final of Lavar Johnson vs. Blagoi Ivanov.
