Titan FC 29 to Crown a Pair of Champions
On May 16, Titan FC plans to crown a Light Heavyweight and Welterweight champion.
Coming off a Titan FC split decision win over Raphael Davis, Jason Brilz (22-5-1) will meet fellow UFC vet and former M-1 Light Heavyweight champion Vinny Magalhaes (10-7); who was before injury originally scheduled to face Brilz at Titan FC 28. Brilz is a wrestler on a 4 fight wins streak with 9 of 15 stoppages by submission, while Magalhaes a talented jiu jitsu fighter, with 8 of 10 stoppages by submission.
UFC vet Matt Riddle (8-3) takes on MMA vet Jose Landi-Jons (28-15) for the vacant Welterweight title. Riddle is undefeated in his last 5 bouts, with 3 wins; and 2 no contests for a pair of failed post-fight drug screens. Landi-Jons has won 5 of his last 6. Pele has 24 stoppages with a 50% (T)KO to submission ratio.
The date and venue for Titan FC 29 has not been made official.
