Lewis vs. Guelmino Added to UFC on Fox Sports 1 2
A match-up pitting debuting Heavyweights against each other has been added to the UFC on Fox Sports 1 2 event with former Legacy FC Heavyweight champion Derick “The Black Beast” Lewis (9-2) meeting Austria’s Nandor “The Hun” Guelmino (11-4-1).
Lewis, is undefeated in his last 6 fights, with 5 wins in that time all by KO/TKO. “The Black Beast” has all 9 win by stoppage and 8 of the 9 by KO/TKO. In his last 3 fights the very powerful Lewis has defeated Justin Frazier, Jared Rosholt, and Ricky Shivers.
Guelmino is coming off his lone Strikeforce appearance, losing by submission to Josh Barrnett; which ends a 7 fight win streak. “The Hun” come sin and fights with a going for broke mentality shown in that win or loose he has only been out of the first round 5 times in 16 fights. Guelmino has 6 of 9 stoppage win by submission. Geelmino’s last win came by unanimous decision over Emil Zahariev in October 2012.
