Johnson Out, Arlovski In vs. Kyle at WSOF 5
The injury bug has bit Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (15-4), who has has to bow out of the scheduled WSOF 5 main event vs Mike “MAK” Kyle (20-9-1).Replacing Johnson will be the man he defeated, by unanimous decision at WSOF 2 Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski (19-10).
Kyle will make his promotional debut coming off scoring the 13th knockout of his career, a 21 second knockout of Travis Wiuff; in the main event of CFA 11.
Arlovski’s loss to Johnson ended a 5 fight undefeated streak that included a WSOF 1 win over Devin Cole, and his most recent win over Mike Hayes.
WSOF 5 will take place on September 14th, at the Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
