Scott Holtzman’s 1st Title Defense vs. Roger Carroll at XFC 26: Night of Champion III
On the AXS TV show Inside MMA it has been announced that XFC Lightweight champion Scott “Hot Sauce” Hotlzman (5-0) will make his 1st title defense against Roger “The Leprechaun” Carroll (13-9) on October 18th at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, in the main event of XFC 26: Night of Champions III
Holtzman earned a XFC title shot at XFC 22 with a unanimous decision win over Jason Hicks. Hotlzman would then defeat John Mahlow by 2nd round TKO at XFC 24 to claim the vacant Lightweight championship. Undefeated “Hot Sauce” has 4 win by stoppage and 3 via KO/TKO. Holtzman is a wrestler with devastating ground and pound.; who as a Tennessee native will be the crowd favorite.
Carroll fights out of Claremont, North Carolinaand Team Superior. Carroll is 3-1 in his last 4 fights with wins over Dre Kennedy (SD), Josh Eagans (TKO), and Kevin Gittemeier (SUB); with the lone blemish coming by TKO to Dhiego Lima.“The Leprechaun” a black belt in both judo and jiu jitsu has all 13 of his wins by stoppage ,with 12 via submission.
