A Bantamweight bout pitting TUF 14 alum Dustin “The Disciple” Pague (11-8) against Kyogi Horiguchi (11-1), who will be making his US and promotional debut.

Pague entered The Ultimate Fighter reality show on a 5 fight winning streak. But since the show in UFC action is only 1-4 with 3 consecutive losses to Ken Stone (SD), Chico Camus (UD), and Yves Jabouin (SD). “The Disciple” last win was the 8th of his career by submission when he forced Jared Papazian to tap to a rear naked choke.

Kyogi Horiguchi comes to us from Takasaki, Gunma, Japan; where he trains with the “Kid Yamamoto” led Krazy Bee Team. Horiguchi a Shooto and Vale Tudo vet has won 5 fights in a row, since suffering the only loss of his career; to Masakatsu Ueda by majority decision. Horiguchi has 7 of 8 stoppage wins by KO/TKO.

UFC 166 takes place on October, 19, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas; and is headlined by Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez battling for the UFC Heavyweight title for the 3rd time.
