Mulhern Injured, Salas Now Facing Tavares at Fight Night 32
Jiu Jitsu based fighter Quinn Mulhern (18-3) due to injury has tapped out of his UFC Fight Night 32 match-up with Thiago Tavares (17-5-1) who will instead square off with Grudge training Centers Justin “J-Bomb” Salas (11-4).
Mulhern was looking to make his Lightweight debut after a promotional debut TKO loss, at Welterweight to Rick Story ended a 3 fight winning streak; that saw all the wins come in the now closed down Strikeforce promotion.
Tavares after back to back wins over Spencer Fisher (TKO) and Sam Stout (UD), saw his winning streak ended by a TKO loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, in his most recent contest at UFC on Fox 7.
UFC Fight Night 32 takes place on November 9, at the Goiania Arena in Goiania Brazil; and is headlined by Vitor Belfor vs. Dan Henderson II.
