Bellator 106 Line Up & Changes Updated
Bellator 106 takes place on Saturday, November 2, at the Long Beach Arena, in California. The event has been expected to be the promotions first pay per view event but a neck injury to headliner Tito Ortiz canceled his Light Heavyweight bout with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson; the promotion has moved the event to it normal home of Spike TV. The new main event a rematch of one the best fights 2011 with rolls reversed as Eddie Alvarez challenges Micheal Chandler for the Bellator Lightweight title. And that’s just 1 of 3 titles on the line for the evening.
In other last minute changes Terry Etim (15-5) vs. Patrick Cenoble (9-2-1) at Lightweight have been pulled from this event. The out is expected to be rescheduled for a later date. Karo Parisyan has been knocked out his his scheduled bout with Cristiano Souza. Parisyan will be replaced by Alejandro Garcia, who is 8-1 in his last 9. The season 9 Heavyweight Tournament final of Cheick Kongo (19-8-2) vs. Vinicius “Spartan” Queiroz (15-3) had been move from Bellator 106 to Bellator 107, but now is off that card due to a Queiroz injury.
