One man will leave with two title on Halloween when the KOTC Heavyweight Champion Cody “the Freight Train” East (7-1) collides with Cruiserweight champion Wes “Soldier” Combs (20-5).
Normally the Heavyweight weight class ranges from 225- 265 lbs., but because both titles will be on the line their will be a 230 lbs. weight limit. No matter who wins, one man leaves with both belts.
East, a member of the Duke City Wrecking Crew, has won 4 fights in a row; including most recently defeating Nick Rossborough by unanimous decision to with the KOTC Heavyweight title. “The Freight Trian” has 6 of 7 wins by stoppage with 4 KO/TKO’s and 2 submission; with 4 stoppage in the 1st round.
Combs a member of Millennia MMA, is also on a 4 fight winning streak, with 3 of the 4 having come by knockout including his most recent win over Esteves Jones. Combs has been fighting as a pro since 2002 and in that time has 18 stoppages, with 15 by KO/TKO.
King of the Cage- Terrified takes place on Thursday, October 31, at the San Manuel casino, in Highland California. Also on the card Kris Armbrister challenges Joshua Aveles for the KOTC Welterweight title and Jerod Spoon challenges Henry Corrales for the KOTC Bantamweight title.
