3 Bouts added to UFC Fight Night 35

The UFC has announced 3 additions to the Fight night 35 event with at Lightweight Justin Edwards (8-3) vs. Ramsey Nijem (7-4), at Welterweight Adlan Amagov (13-2-1) vs. Jason High (18-4), and at Middleweight Brian Houston (4-1) vs. Trevor Smith (10-4).

Edwards will be making the drop from Welterweight to Lightweight , after a 3-2 stint at Welterweight; and most recently suffering a TKO loss to Brandon Thatch.

After being knocked out in the TUF 13 finals by Tony Ferguson, Nijem would win 3 fights in a row but, now is hoping to snap a two fight skid; having been defeated by Myles Jury (KO) and James Vick (SUB).

Amagov has won 3 fights in a row over Keith Berry (TKO), Chris Spang (UD), and TJ Waldburger (KO).

High has won 9 of his last 10 fights, including consecutive wins over James Head (SUB) and Anthony Lapsley (UD).

Houston will be looking to rebound from his 1st career loss, having been submitted in his UFC debut by Derek Brunson at UFC Fight for the Troops 3.

Smith is looking to get back on the right track having lost 3 of 4 and possibly fighting for his job. Smith did rack up a bonus in his last fight, losing to Ed Herman; but earning the Fight of the Night award.

UFC Fight Night 35 takes place on January 15, at The Arena at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia; headlined by former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold vs. heavy handed Constantinos Philippou.
