Kobold Replaced by D’Alelio vs. Evinger at Invicta FC 7
On Friday November 24, Invicta FC posted on their Facebook page Shannon Knapp- “Big thanks to Sarah D’Alelio for stepping up and stepping in to fight Tonya Evinger at Invicta FC 7 on Dec 7th!”.
Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger (11-6) had been scheduled to face Kelly “Blood Red” Kobold (18-3-1), but will instead for unannounced reasons battle Sarah “the Monster” D’Alelio (7-4).
D’Alelio will appear on an Invicta card for the 6th time in 7 events, so far having a 3-2 mark. “The Monster” has defeated in that time vanessa Mariscal (SUB), Vanessa Porto (SUB), and Amanda Nunes (UD); while having been defeated by Shayna Baszler (SUB) and most recently to Lauren Murphy (UD).
Evinger how will be making her Invicta FC debut, since snapping a two fight losing streak by submitting Anita Rodriguez, has also knocked out Lacie Jackson; and has been on the winning side of a split decision with Carina Damm.
Invicta FC 7 takes place on December 7, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri; featuring 3 title bouts at Strawweight, Flyweight, and Bantamweight.
