UFC 169 & UFC London add Two Bouts Each

The UFC has announced that at UFC 169 newcomers Tony Martin (7-0) and Rashid Magomedov (15-1), will meet at Lightweight; as well as Neil Magny (8-3) welcomes Gasan Umalatov (14-2) to the octagon.

Announced for the UFC London event on March 8, is a Middleweight bout pitting Luke Barnatt (7-0) against promotional newcomer Mats Nilsson (11-2), and also Brad Scott (9-2) takes on Claudio Henrique da Silva (9-1)

Minnesota’s Martin has 5 wins via submission, while Magomedov who has won 8 fights in a row has 7 stoppage wins by (T)KO.

Magny has lost consecutive to Sergio Moraes (SUB) and Seth Baczynski (UD), while Umalatov is coming off a decision win over Aigun Akhmedov. Umalatov is 8-1 in his last 9 fights and has 7 of 9 stoppage wins by submission.

Barnatt is coming off a UFC Fight Night 30 submission win over Andrew Craig. Nilsson has won 2 fights in a row defeating Chris Scott (UD) and Denniston Sutherland (TKO).

Scott is coming off a 1st round submission of Michael Kuiper, bouncing back from a TUF “Smashes” finals lost to Robert Whittaker. Da Silva after being disqualified in his pro debut has won 9 consecutive contests with 6 of the wins coming by submission.

UFC 169 takes place on February 1, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. UFC London takes place on March 8, at the O2 Arena in London, England.
