Additions & Shake Up MFC 39: No Remorse
Two titles will be on the line to headline MFC 39, but the rest of the main card has dude to injuries and other reasons, has incurred a few changes.
Injury has forced Chase Degenhardt (8-3) to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Ryan Chiappe (10-8), who was then matched up with Mehdi Baghdad (9-3). Shortly after word broke of the change, it then announced that Chiappe has now been replaced by Sean Powers (8-3).
Baghdad has won 5 fights in a row including consecutively using the rear naked choke to defeat Dionisio Ramirez and Nick Christy.
Powers has ended a 2 fight losing streak with a two fight winning streak submitting David Allred and defeating Gabe Francis by TKO.
The previously announced bout of Derek Boyle (10-6) vs. Aaron Gallant (6-5), due to a Gallat injury has been canceled. Filling the void left on the main card will be the new addition of Andrew Mcinnes (3-1) vs. Dan Ring (5-2-1) at Lightweight.
Since a pro debut TKO loss, Mcinnes has won three fights in a row all buy submission, while Ring after a pro debut draw won 5 fights in a row; and will now be looking to snap a 2 fight skid.
MFC 39- NO Remorse takes place on January 17 at the Northlands Expo Center in Edmonton , Alberta, Canada; headlined by Darrill Schoonover challenging Anthony Hamilton for the MFC Heavyweight title.
