Former WEC title challenger Manny “The Anvil” Gamburyan (13-8) a Judo player will tangle with the relentless pressure of American Top Team wrestler Nik “The Carny” Lentz (24-6-2-1). After a 3 fight losing streak “The Anvil” paced together a pair of decision wins over Michihiro Omigawa and Cole Miller before losing to Dennis Siver (UD) at UFC 168. Lentz moved from Lightweight to Featherweight and defeated Eiji Mitsuoka (TKO), Diego Nunes (UD), and Hacran Dias (UD); before a unanimous decision loss Chad Mendes.
Darrell “The Mongoose” Montague (13-3) will look to rebound from a debut knock out loss to John Dodson that ended a 4 fight win streak when he faces Kyoji Horiguchi (12-1) who has won 6 fights in a row; including a promotional debut TKO of Dustin Pague.
Top ten Flyweight Chris “Kamikaze” Cariaso (16-5) coming off wins over Iliarde Santos (TKO) and Danny Martinez (UD) will collide with young lengthy Hawaiian Louis Smolka (7-0); who in going the disstance for the first time defeated Alptekin Ozkilic at UFC Fight Night 35.
