The winner of the Bellator 114 main event between Brennan Ward (9-1) and Alexander Shelmenko (49-7) will need a challenger to the Middleweight title. That challenger will come from the recently announced 4-man mini Middleweight tournament that will take place during season 10.

The first semifinal match-up will see Brett Cooper (19-9) against Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove (19-13) at Bellator 114, on March 28,at the Maverik Center in West Valley City Utah.

Marshall won the season 8 tournament by knocking out Andreas Spang and Brett Cooper, and also split decision-ed Sultan Aliev; before getting knocked out by a body shot from Alexander Shelmenko at Bellator 109.

Cramer won 3 fights in a row including a decision over Brain Rogers in the season 8 quarterfinals before getting knocked out by Brett Cooper in the semifinals.
