Krylov Replaces Silva at UFC 171 Against St. Preux

Replacing the jailed and released from the promotion, Thiago Silva at UFC 170, will be dropping from Heavyweight to Light Heavyweight, Russian Nikita Krylov (16-3); who will tangle with Ovince St. Perux (14-5).
Silva after an altercation at a Florida Jiu Jitsu school is in jail without bond, for allegedly threatening the schools owner, who is said to be in a relationship; with Silva’s estranged wife.
St. Preux is on a 3 fight win streak having defeated TJ Cook (KO), Gian Villante (MD), and Cody Donovan (KO).
Krylov bounced back from a promotional debut TKO loss to Soa Palelei, with a 25 second TKO of Walt Harris, at UFC on Fox 10.
UFC 171 takes place on March 15, at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas; headlined by Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks and “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler for the vacant UFC Welterweight title.
