UFC Fight Night Cincinnati adds Palelei vs. Potts & Salas vs. Wall
Soa “The Hulk” Palelei (20-3) will welcome EFC Heavyweight champion Ruan Potts (8-1) to the octagon at the recently announced UFC Fight Night Cincinnati event.
Also a Lightweight bout pitting Grudge Training centers Justin “J-Bomb” Salas (11-5) against Australian Ben “Manimal” Wall (7-1-1).
Palelei has won 10 fights in a row all by (T)KO, including UFC victories over Niita Krylov and Pat Barry.
Potts who hails from South Africa, has fought in entire career in EFC Africa and has submitted his last 3 opponents. Potts has 8 stoppage with 50% rate of knockout to submissions.
Salas since entering the UFC is 2-2 with wins over Anton Kuivanen (UD) and Aaron Riley (SD), while the losses have come against Tim Means (TKO) and Thiago Tavares (SUB).
Wall will look to bounce back from a KO loss to Alex Garcia, which is the first blemish on his professional record. The “Manimal” has a pair of rear naked choke victories and all other bout have went the disstance.
UFC Fight Night Cincinnati will be on May 10 at the US Bank Arena.
