A Championship Double Dip at WSOF 11

WOSF 11 has been set for July 11th with a venue to be announced , but what is know u is that the event will be a double header of title contests.

Grudge Fight Teams Justin Gaethje (11-0) will be defending his WSOF Lightweight title against fellow undefeated, American Top Teams “Notorious” Nick Newell (11-0) and AKA’s Jon Fitch (25-6-1) challenges Team Nogueir’s Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares (16-6) for the WSOF Welterweight.

Fitch is coming off of ending a 2 fight skid with a split decision win over Marcelo Alfaya, while Palhares after being released form the UFC and suspended for holding a submission long after the tap; made his WSOF debut by submitting Steve Carl winning the WSOF Welterweight championship.

Gaethje who has 9 of 11 win by (T)KO, is 4-0 in the WSOF with all wins coming by (T)KO, including a TKO of Richard Patishnock at WSOF 8 to become the 1st ever WSOF Lightweight champion. Newell has 8 of 11 win by submission including 3 straight wins by guillotine choke, submitting Eric Reynolds (XFC Lightweight title), Keon Caldwell (WSOF 4), Sabah Fadai (WSOF 7).
