Fright Night is October 4th at Buffalo Thunder Casino
Holmes Boxing and Orthrus Promotions are teaming up once again on October 4th, to present a 7 bout Boxing card, “Fright Night”, at the Buffalo Thunder Casino that will be headlined by Espanola’s Monica Lovato.Lovotao (13-1, 5 KO) has won 12 fights in a row including most recently defeating DJ Morrison by unanimous decision at “Return of the Warrior”.
The nights co-main event will feature Santa Fe’s undefeated Brandon Holmes (4-0, 3 KO), who is coming off 4-round unanimous decision win over Eric Gonzalez at “Latin Collision”. Both Holmes brother are expected to be in action with Patrick Holmes Jr. (1-1, 1KO) also being on the card and looking to build off a 2nd round TKO of Lucas Pedraza, that also took place at “Latin Collision:”
Undefeated Angelo Leo (5-0, 2 KO) will be on his 4th Holmes Boxing card , coming off a “Latin Collision” 3 round TKO of James Piar. Fellow undefeated on the card representing Atrisco Boxing is Brain Mendoz (2-0, 2 KO) with a pair of quick knock out wins.
Not officially announced but it is rumored that Cristian Cabral will meet Shawn Gallegos, both men are on the poster. Returning to the ring for the first time in 15 months, looking to rebound from his first pro loss is Warrior’s Academy’s Cristian “El Puma” Cabral (5-1-1,KO 3) .“The Educator” Shawn Gallegos (19-4, KO 5) recently fought for the first time in 3 and half years defeating Jeremiah Torres, by 6-round unanimous decision; at Dia De Johnny Tapia.

The official ‘Fright Night’ weigh-ins will take place on Friday October 3rd, 2014 at the Turquoise Trail Bar, inside the beautiful Buffalo Thunder Casino and Resort. Weigh-ins will begin promptly at 2pm MST. There will also be an open workout Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Lithia Dodge (4470 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507) from 1PM until 3PM and both, the weigh ins as well as the open workout are open to the public.
Buffalo Thunder Casino and Resort presents ‘Fright Night’, in association with Holmes Boxing and Orthrus Promotions, marks the third professional boxing event at the Buffalo Thunder Casino and Resort.
