Chavez Promotions Presents “Winter War” December 12th
December 12th will be Boxing day in Albuquerque’s South Valley as Chavez Promotions presents “Winter War” a day of two events with a USA sanctioned amateur event in the afternoon and pros taking center stage at night, inside the Pat McKernan Event Center (933 Sunset RD SW 87105).
The “Winter War” main event will see former WBC title holder Josh “The Pitbull” Torres (14-4-2) squaring off with Daniel Gonzalez. In the co-mian event, on a 4 fight win streak, coming off a unanimous decision win over John Herrera, Alex Holguin (5-1) takes on Jason Thompson . The amateur event is scheduled to begin at 1 pm and end at 5 pm. The doors for the pro event open at 6, with the 1st fight at 7 for the pro card.
