Martinez–Vasquez II set for May 13
May 13th, Holmes Boxing is back at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino with Martinez – Vasquez II.
Antonio “Tone” Martinez vs. Ben Vasquez one, happened in May of 2016, at Holmes Boxing’s Showdown, going to the judges, and being scored a split draw. Since Martinez has defeated Ivan Lucero (tko) and Brian Castillo (ud), while Vasquez has been stopped by Amon Rashidi (ko) and Kennneth Taylor (tko).
In a heavyweight bout Gallup’s Ronald Baca will collide with Los Lunas’s Manuel Eastman.
Plus undefeated “Irish” Bryant McClain of Rio Rancho meets Albuquerque’s Frankie Quintana.
Both Jordanne Garcia and Ernesto Salvidrez will hopefully be making their pro debuts, while Ivan Miranda looks to build off a strong showing in a exhibition at Cold War 3, rebounding from a September 2016, TKO loss to Brain McClain. All 3 are without official opponents, according to my sources.
