Cerrone-Lawler official for UFC 213
After having been rumored several times, former Welterweight champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler & Dobald “Cowboy” Cerrone will throw down at UFC 213 in July.
Lawler will be returning to action for the first time since losing the Welterweight champion to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201. The loss ended a 5 fight win streak, that saw Lawler twice successfully defend the title.
Following a December 2015, loss in challenging Rafael Dos Anjos for the UFC Lightweight title, Cerrone moved up to Welterweight. Success followed with 4 straight wins, but Cerrone is now looking to rebound from a TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal.
Bewteen Cerrone and Lawler the two men have 45 stoppages in 59 victories.
UFc 213 is July 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
