Lovato-Ceasear & 2 others added to Jackson MMA Series XXII
Jackson’s MMA Series XXII, has announced the addition of a woman’s strawweight match-up, pitting Amanda Lovato of Albuquerque, NM, against El Paso, Texas’s, Roxanne Ceasear.
Both ladies have a good amount of experience as Lovato has a total of 7 fights pro and amateur while Ceasear has had 11. To this point neither woman has preformed to there potential as professionals. You can believe both are ultra hungry, focused, and motivated, to get, what has been an elusive, victorious hand raise.
Lovato who has trained at Judgment MMA, Fit NHB, and is now training along side her husband at the JacksonWink Academy. Following a 3-1 amateur run, Lovato hasn’t found the same success as a pro coming off consecutive submission losses. This will be Lovato’s first fight in a year and first while training with the new team.
Ceasear who trains at Sparta MMA Carlson Gracie in El Paso, went 4-4 during her amateur run, with 3 win by decision, but finished up with consecutive losses to Gaby Romero (sub) and Tracy Cortez (tko). That skid has continued as a pro suffering losses to Montana Stewart (sub), Alice Yauger (dec), Stacey Sigala (dec).
On the amateur side of the card it’s been made official that Lightweights Jess Moorhouse of Winks Gym in Albuquerque, and Tre Alvarado of Force of One in Clovis, who’ll be making his amateur debut, will square off. In his amatuer debut at Jackson’s MMA Series XXI, Moorhouse took Robert Glover to the ground, hunted for an arm, and eventually walked out with a submission win by kimura in the 2nd round. It’s the 2nd try for this match-up that had previously been booked for Jackson’s MMA XXI.
In an amateur Bantamweight affair Daniel “El Fuego” Nieto of the JacksonWink Academy will take on Mark Matthew McDill of Get Cut MMA from Artesia, NM. Both men are looking to end 2 fight skids.
Jackson’s MMA Series XXII is June 10 at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino
