LFA 53 10 fight card topped by Perez vs. Kenney Title Bout
LFA is returning to the desert with a Flyweight tile bout in Nov. Maikel Perez defends the LFA Flyweight tile for the first time when he faces Casey Kenney in the main event of FLA 53.
Perez a former Cuban, Olympic Wrestler, has won 4 straight. Perez won the vacant LFA Flyweight title , with a 2ns round TKO of Sid Bice at LFA 37. Kenney has won his last two fights in LFA both decision defeating Kendrick Latchman at LFA 31 & Roman Salazar at LFA 44.
The co-main event will see Kyle “Gunz Up” Stewart & Braden Smith in a Welterweight contest. Stewart has \finished 7 of his 10 victories ,4 by knock out, 3 submissions, looks to rebound from his first career loss, a decision to current LFA welterweight champion James Nakashima. Smith has a 100% finishing rate, with 5 of the 7 by submission. Smith is attempting to bounce back from a LFA 19 loss to Chauncey Foxworth.
In the Featherweight division Kevin “The Hard Hitting Hillbilly” Croom, who’s off a LFA 48, TKO win over Darrick Minner takes on Kamuela “The Jawaiian” Kirk, who’s coming off submitting Boimah Karmo at LFA 44 by rear naked choke.
Also at Featherweight Joey “The Beast” Miolla, who’s coming off a LFA 44 decision win over GlenBaker, is set to tangle with Andrew Tenneson, who’s won 3 straight, including submitting Andrew Yates at LFA 10.
At Lightweight undefeated Keoni Diggs from the Lab MMA, tangles with fellow finisher Harvey “Fightbot” Park from Force of One Martial Arts, both have 100% finishing rates.
Opening up the main card at Bantamweight Kevin “Quicksand” Natividad, who has his last 3 wins by knock out collides with Tom “The Unicore” Ni, who has both his wins by knock out.
The feature prelim also at Bantamweight, will see former Colorado mma amateur of the year AJ Robb clashing with undefeated Hunter Azure.
