Lujan brawl results, Abraham Perez moves to 5-0
A packed Manuel Lujan complex on the Expo New Mexico fair ground was treated to exciting night of Boxing by Legacy Boxing Promotions.
U.S. Olympian Abraham Perez continues to impress and show signs that bigger things are to come for his future. The Albuquerque resident is now 5-0 after handing Paloma California’s Isaac Anguiano his first professional loss, a unanimous decision.
In the co-main event a highly contested affair saw Katherine Renee Lindenmuth edge Amand Lovato on the scorecards for a split decision win. The win moves Lindenmuth to (2-0) while Lovato falls to (1-2) in boxing. Heavyweight Leonid Grachev is now 5-0 after winning a unanimous decision over Manuel Eastman now (3-7-1). Duke City Underdog’s Martin Armijo (1-0) made a successful pro debut putting Adrian Torres (0-1) down in the fourth round with a right hand.
Jacksonwink product Dwight “Akuma” Maters (1-0), normally an MMA fighter, scored a third round TKO win over Brandon Heredia (0-2) . In a fight I personally suggested Jordan Gregory (2-3-2) made it two wins in a row out dueled Lorenzo Benavidez (3-3-1) for a the unanimous decision victory. El Paso’s Caesar Alvarado (1-0) out brawled nine fight fight Daniel Garcia-Flores (2-7) to win his pro debut.
Power & Glory Boxing’s Daniel Gonzalez (3-0) remains unbeaten after a third round TKO over Ricardo Canales (0-1-1). And on 24-hour notice Bekhzod Usmonov (1-0) defeated 21-fight vet Ricardo Alan Fernandez (3-14-4) by unanimous decision for a successful pro debut.
