The O2 Arena in London England hosts UFC 286 a 15-fight card featuring the third meeting between Leon “Rocky” Edwards & Kamaru “The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman for the UFC Welterweight title.
The main event is an immediate rematch from UFC 286 where Leon Edwards pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in sports history knocking out Kamaru Usman with a head kick in the final minute. The win also evened the score with Usman who had beat Edwards by decision in December of 2015. Edwards is on a 10-fight win streak while the loss ended Usman’s 19-fight win streak that included five title defenses.
The co-main event is a top ten Lightweight encounter as former interim champion number three ranked Justin Gaethje squares off with number six ranked Rafael Fiziev. Gaethje is a former WSOF champion, considered to be one of the most violent and exciting fighters in the sports. Fiziev is talented and technical Muay Thai striker on a six-fight win streak.
