ABQ’s Perez Brothers Headline Expo Explosion
Legacy boxing Promotions has announced a Midsummer championship doubleheader to take place at Expo New Mexico.
In a massive moment for the two brothers Abraham & his older brother Aaron with fight for titles on the same night in their hometown.
The main event will see Abraham “The Hammer” Perez battling Agustin Perez Balbuena for a vacant WBC Youth Flyweight world title. At the promotions last event “New Era” “Hammer” scored a third round knockout of Jeronil Boris to win the vacant IBA intercontinental Flyweight Title. Balbuena is on a three-fight win streak highlighted by six round, unanimous decision over previously unbeaten, Edgar De La Cruz Gonzalez.
The co-main event will see Aaron “Angel Baby” Perez looking to add a New Mexico State Lightweight championship to his collection when he faces Clovis resident Rafael Reyes. Perez will be returning to action for the first since October 2021. “Angel Baby” has already won an American boxing Federation intercontinental, featherweight title in 2019. Race is a Mexican born power puncher with 16 of his 20 winds coming by knockout.
In the nights featured fight Cristian “El Puma” Cabral returns to the ring after five years away from the ring to take on brawler Daniel Flores-Garcia.
In a special attraction contest between unbeaten fighters Ceasar Alvarado collides with Sterling Peak. This fight could take place in a phone booth, google it if you don’t know what a phone booth is.
Legacy boxing Promotions expo explosion is July 15 at the Manuel Lujan complex at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque New Mexico.
Power and glory Boxer, Daniel Gonzalez looks to rebound from his first professional loss when he face is grizzled veteran Derek Perez from Perez Fighting Systems.
Fruitland, New Mexico’s Elija Martinez would love to build off of successful proud of you when he faces Las Cruces’s Garrett Lopez.
Additionally, the Promotion is still conducting opponent searches for Katherine Renee Lindenmuth, Jordanne Garcia, and Martin Armijo.
